While not the world's worst, air travel is one of the world's fastest-growing producers of greenhouse gas emissions (such as CO2) and so a major contributor to climate change. Reportedly governments around the world are considering applying additional taxes on airline passengers in the future. At the same time airlines themselves seek ways to reduce their total emission levels. In the meantime this aspect of your holiday has the greatest impact on global warming. At H2O we believe each of us has a responsibility to minimise our own environmental footprint. This 'carbon calculator' is designed to calculate the emissions resulting from your holiday flights and, if you choose, allow you to offset them with a payment to Climate Care. In turn Climate Care invests this money in projects around the world designed to reduce greenhouse gases by the same amount as those produced in your holiday.   In the design of our holidays H2O makes every effort to minimise their impact on the environments and communities you visit. We also offset all the emissions from our staff flights and office operations.
