Anemone Reef is a completely submerged, single craggy rock covered in anemones and colourful soft corals. All kinds of tropical fish reside here as well as graceful leopard sharks and schools of graceful lionfish. Hin Musang (aka Shark Point) is an area of three reefs is covered with colourful soft corals, sponges & Gorgonian fans. Between these Leopard sharks can be seen resting on the sand. There are also Moray eels, sea snakes and barracuda. The King Cruiser Wreck was a ferry operating between Phuket and Phi Phi before it hit a reef close to Anemone Reef in 1997 and sank in 27 meters of water. No lives were lost, but the wreck remains as a new underwater attraction. Big schools of fish have already made their home here. Currents can be strong and visibility drops. The wreck has a large car deck, middle deck with salon and dining areas and upper deck where the Captain's cabin was located. There are many reef fish hunted by cuttlefish, lion fish and above them barracuda. Koh Racha Yai the larger of the Racha islands is an excellent dive for new divers or those looking for a refresher. A healthy selection of hard and soft corals, in deeper sand areas there are garden eels and blue spotted rays. A few years ago an liveaboard boat was sunk here to create an artificial reef and now has a school of resident bat fish. Koh Racha Noi, the smaller sibling south of Racha Yai, is somewhat more exposed and can have more current and so better visibility. Large granite boulders covered in soft corals and feather stars. Off the south point there's a large pinnacle and the site attracts the odd pelagic including sting rays, eagle rays and even Manta.
