Wed 2nd Dec 2009 - New Wreck Dive in Thailand
A former dive boat 'Harruby' was sunk on Saturday in the waters off Kho Racha Yai.

The vessel, worth 3 million Baht, was donated by the Department of Marine Coastal Resources to create an artificial reef at the most popular dive site of Phuket, in Thailand's Andaman Sea.

The 18 meter wreck now lies on 25 meters at Ao Ten, one of the Bays at Racha Yai. As an artificial reef it won't be long until the corals and sponges take hold attracting its own population of coral fish.

Yet another reason to choose a diving holiday in Thailand's Andaman Sea.
