A scenic 25minute seaplane flight from Male is Ari Atoll’s north east wall and Ellaidhoo island. Diving from Ellaidhoo is hard to better situated within easy reach of some of the Maldives’ big name sites like Maaya Thila and Fish Head, plus its fringed by one of the Maldives' best house reefs.

Unusually for a small island the newly opened Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo has a good selection of accommodation. Very much a resort for divers there are good après dive facilities with a choice of restaurants & bars.
